On April 25th, the Poison Spider Duya Cup Golden Nine Duel came to an end. After four days of fierce competition, the champion team consisting of top Chinese players, Yang Fan, Zhao Ruliang, Zhou Long, and Liu Xiazhi concluded a triumphant week in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, securing the championship and clinching the gold medal plus 500,000RMB ($69,050) top prize. The international team of prestigious players including Michael Hill, Jack Whelan, Clint I’Anson, and Yana Halliday claimed the runner-up title and 300,000RMB ($41,430) prize money.

Organized by Poison Spider Billiard Cues and co-organized by Qinhuangdao Duya Billiard Sports Promotion Co., the tournament took the sport to new heights by promoting the exchange of billiard culture at home and abroad and creating a culture exchange of billiards across the globe.

Set in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, famed billiards players gathered and fought passionately and tenaciously on the stage of the Golden Nine, a Chinese nine-ball, bringing an unforgettable experience for players, fans, and partners alike.

The tournament came to a successful end on April 25th, the guests attending the award ceremony were Ms. Dou Xue, General Manager of Poison Spider Cues, and Mr. Sun Tao, Deputy General Manager of Qinhuangdao Duya Billiards Sports Promotion Co.

The 2024 Poison Spider·Duya Cup Golden Nine Duel kicked off on April 22, at the Zhejiang International Film and TV Center, hosting 4 days of thrilling competition, featuring men single, men double, women singles and mixed doubles and boasting a prize fund 800,000RMB ($110,480).
