After four days of fierce competition, the champion team consisting of top Chinese players, Yang Fan, Zhao Ruliang, Zhou Long, and Liu Xiazhi concluded a triumphant week in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, securing the championship and clinching the gold medal plus 500,000RMB ($69,050) top prize. The international team of prestigious players including Michael Hill, Jack Whelan, Clint I’Anson, and Yana Halliday claimed the runner-up title and 300,000RMB ($41,430) prize money.
Organized by Poison Spider Billiard Cues and co-organized by Qinhuangdao Duya Billiard Sports Promotion Co., the tournament took the sport to new heights by promoting the exchange of billiard culture at home and abroad and creating a culture exchange of billiards across the globe.
